Brooklyn is the most populous borough of New York City, It borders the borough of Queens  and has several bridge connections to the nearby boroughs of Staten Island and Manhattan. Some landmarks are:

New York City is built on islands and it is divided into five boroughs : Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn and Staten Island. These boroughs are conected by tunnels and bridges.

History of New York.

New York City quickly grew in importance as a trading port and became the second biggest city of the British colonies with about 20,000 inhabitants. Many inmigrants went there to look for work and they lived in unhealthy apartments called "tenements".

The 1920s were good years for the economy and there were jobs for everyone. This period was called " The Roaring Twenties".

In the Great Depression most americans has lost their jobs and had because poor because they lost a lot of money in the Wall Street Crash.
